Check if Your PC Can Run Windows 11
Find out if you actually need this guide.
You will use Microsoft's official tool to check if your computer supports Windows 11. This is a quick check and takes only a few minutes.
Step 2 - Install the tool
- Double-click the downloaded file
- Click Install
- Wait for it to finish
- Click Finish
Step 3 - Open the tool and run the check
If it does not open automatically:
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard
- Type: PC Health Check
- Press Enter
Once the application is open, click on the blue button that states
Step 4 - Understand the result
If you see:
"This PC meets Windows 11 requirements"
Your computer is supported
You do not need to continue with this guide.
If you see:
"This PC doesn't meet Windows 11 requirements"
Your computer is not supported
Click "See all results" to understand why.
This is normal for older machines.
What to do next
If your PC IS compatible
You can upgrade to Windows 11.
You can stop here.
If your PC is NOT compatible
Do not install anything yet.
