Check that Linux works properly on your computer before installing it.
You are running Linux directly from the USB drive. Nothing is installed yet. This is a temporary test. This step tells you if your computer will work correctly after installation.

After booting from USB, you will see a menu.
Look for:
Select this option.
Do not choose install.
This may take a minute.
When ready, you will see a desktop.
Take a few minutes and check each item.
Check:
Does the system feel usable?
Use a second USB device.
Do not remove the Linux USB.
Check:
This is a good sign.
You can continue to install Linux.
Stop here.
Do not install.

Installing will not fix these issues.
